Specifying Different Embedded Icons
How would I specify a different icon for a button/list item? For example, there are several icons embedded inside of the Winamp.exe executable but I
don't know the syntax to have Talisman use a different one than the first/default one.
Thanks in advance.

That's what I tried but it's not working. I'm using the MacVista theme. I go to the object editor, select the object and put
"C:/Winamp/winamp.exe,4" in the icon field and nothing changes.
*Those are supposed to be backslashes in the path.
EDIT TO ADD: It changes the icon in the Object Editor, but not the icon on the desktop/taskbar.

It works ok for me.
I tried this string for "Button" object and "List from file" object:
c:\program files\winamp\winamp.exe,4
PS not a "c:\program files\winamp\winamp.exe,4" !

I had no quotes either. Maybe it's a quirk with the theme I'm using...

That syntax works fine under several other themes; it must be a bug/quirk in the MacVista theme. Any ideas how I can fix that?

I have not this theme.
But do you realy need this third winamp icon?
Use any other ico file.
There are nice winamp.ico in default Talisman installation.

No, I don't "need" it, but I thought the point of Talisman was that I would able to completely customize my environment. I was simply
going through things and seeing what I could do and came across this particular issue. It seems to be a theme specific problem but it does make me
wonder what else I may find I am unable to actually customize.
I planned on purchasing Talisman after I was confident that it did what I understood it to be able to do.
Thank you for your replies. I will continue to play with this and see if I can figure it out. I am admittedly a "n00b" and this may be
something quite simple that I'm missing.

Ok, I was also under the impression that Talisman would perform better than the standard MS shell but the machine I'm using it on grinds with any
theme I use. Whereas it performs fine under the Explorer interface. I guess Talisman just isn't for me.
Maybe I'll give it another chance in the future. I tried it back in '99 and saw potential and it looks like it's come a long way. But
not quite enough to convince me to use it.
I've had it installed for 10 days and it tells me I have 30 days to try it out but now I can no longer access the Object editor. "Object
Editor will be available only in registered version! Please register!". Huh?
Thanks anyway.
